Azure Connect

Date:

Wednesday, May 18, 2011 12:00 PST (20:00 GMT)*

Description:

Azure connect is one of the new features of Windows Azure. Azure Connect allows the creation of a virtual network that includes a machine running on-premises with deployed instances of your Azure Roles. In this session we will look at the basic capabilities provided by Azure Connect and learn how to configure it to create a virtual network allowing our Azure Roles to utilize components deployed within our own data centers. This will provide a means of accessing a SQL instance running on-premises and not require a deployment to SQL Azure.
