Nigel Peter Sammy - Chapter Leader

      

Nigel Peter Sammy is an IT professional with over a decade of technical experience and over 8 years Database and SQL Server experience. Currently he is the MessageCentral Operations Manager at Teleios Systems Limited and is a Data Platform Architect (Consultant) at SolidQ. 

He is also the Founder and current Group Leader of the Trinidad and Tobago SQL Server User Group (TTSSUG). Nigel is a regular SQL Server presenter at Microsoft Trinidad and Tobago events.

In 2012, Nigel became the first Microsoft SQL Server MVP in Trinidad and Tobago. 


 

Paras Doshi - Chapter Co-Leader

Paras believes in knowledge-sharing and jumps at opportunities that allows him to learn and share with the community. He finds time to blog and answer questions on MSDN Forums. In August 2011, he got Microsoft community contributor award for contributions primarily in Windows Azure forums.


Paras works at SolidQ where one of his project on SQL Azure in early 2011 got him started in the amazing world of Microsoft’s cloud computing offering. And with knowledge gained from these projects, he passed the Microsoft certification Exam of Windows Azure.  he also completed a year-long certificate course in cloud computing at University of Washington which helped him delve deeper in cloud computing.
 


 

Jose L. Rivera - Chapter Webmaster

Jose L. has over 9 years of experience in the design, development and management of information systems for various industry sectors including Health Care, Banking, Government and Insurance. Thru his work, Jose L help organizations in the development of Data Analytics, Data Warehousing and Business intelligence solutions specialize in Data Integration/ETL and Frond-End Reporting using both Microsoft BI tools, among others.

In addition, he shares his knowledge and perspectives on database technologies and BI on his blog, and local PASS Chapters for Puerto Rico where he is a frequent speaker and BoD member. He is also a MCTIP in Database Administration, Database Development and Business Intelligence for SQL Server 2008.
